Hello! My name is Svetlana. I am the Teacher of Russian as a foreign language.
I began teaching after completing the training course at the Center of Russian Language Studies at Lomonosov Moscow State University. While teaching, I realized the importance of getting academic qualifications. I got a master’s degree in Pushkin Leningrad State University.
My first education degree in engineering (the Moscow Aviation Institute), my work experience in the banking sector and investment companies, helps me to teach students with different academic and professional backgrounds.
I believe that teachers should continuously develop and improve their skills, and I am not an exception. The acquired knowledge allows me to develop individual approaches for each student. Together, we define learning objectives, conduct regular progress assessments, and adjust the study plan whenever necessary.
The key factors for successful language learning are trust-based relationships between teacher and student, a friendly and supportive classroom atmosphere, and, of course, plenty of practice.
